When in town I play at CM's because of the billiard table. If thats in use, I have been known to play some straight with Pat Howey. Didn't like that much. Hes beautiful to watch though. Takes apart a rack as nice as you'ld like.

Bob's way is the way to go. I quit using them because they grab on your shirt and "shark" you. They also fail often.

Keep chalk up on rail (the first thing I learned, you'd be amazed at how many don't do this). Go to the bathroom prior to your inning, not mine. Pay attention to the game, not your text messages. Tell your friends to talk later, not in the middle of our game.

Looks like the cheap cues that came from Sears, or Kmart. When guys used to bring me those to evaluate, I'd ask if they had a fireplace. Allthough before I played 3C an old man brought me a duffel bag full of carom cues that I told him the same thing. They probably had value but I didn't know...

Do you think the table at Q-Masters is hot enough? I played at other places and the tables were almost uncomfortable. They also play slow for having just been recovered.

I would have shot the same shot, but with center left and played for the second way. It always seems to be more natural for me. Nice run anyway.

A kid named Eddie Sauer played real good back in the 60's. Cranfield tried showing him some things but Eddie didn't have the patience.
