    Joss I do not believe it is a Davis blank. I think that both Bill and Dan made their own splices at that time. As far as making a cue lighter, You could always have some material taken off, but not sure if it would be a good idea.

    $take Hor$e, wow they are almost identical. Bill said the cue was made about 69-70. He and Danny were together at that time. Who knows which one made it? Does it really matter? They both do a great job with their "custom" made cues. Thanks for the info. I think my pricing is about right...
