Opinions on AMF Grand Prix tables

I have a mid 60's Grand Prix and love it. Still has the original cushions on it and it plays great. Very lively. The table mechanic that set it up was also very impressed with it and comment about the rubber in those years being better.

Great pic, you can see the weight he added under his grip hand.

    cue weight sos

I have a break cue that has a large diameter butt, and even though it's 2 oz heavier than my player, it always feels lighter to me.

It's listed in the for sale section. While I was waiting for it to be made/delivered I bought a Becue shaft. So figured I'd sell this one. PM sent.

    New Meucci Carbon Pro 31" 12.5mm 3/8-10

I ordered a Meucci Carbon shaft after they were announced and between placing the order and receiving it had a chance to buy a Becue. I like the Becue and don't really want to go through a process of using both to see which I like better etc so I'm just going to sell the Meucci. It is brand...

    "True Moori" tip.

I did ask again and just got the response. It's a "Real Moori Medium". I kinda want to reply "Why didn't you just say that the first time?"

    "True Moori" tip.

Hey, I have been emailing with Meucci about the new Carbon Pro shaft and asking what tip it will come with. They said Moori. I asked soft, medium, or hard. They said "true moori" Is "True" a name for a tip they sell, or are they just trying to tell me it's not a "fake" moori?

    Anyone make a short shaft

Fisher Custom Cues makes a shorty jump shaft to use on your regular butt for jump shots. It's a pretty stiff tapper, but he might be able to do something closer to a pro taper and longer. these are only 12"...

    New Maple Shaft Recommendations

I think that sounds like a great deal. I know others will say negative things, but I've had great luck with the Meucci's I've owned. Better yet, order the new Meucci CF Pro with matching rings. It'll never warp, or dent, or wear out. :)

    Why no pool

It's kindof like getting a loan when you have no credit...but you can't get a credit rating without the loan... No sponsors because of no fans....good luck getting fans when it's not on TV. If I remember correctly. The Women were paying ESPN to air their stuff... The NHRA used to do the same...

    Why no pool

If being childish or or gambling controversies kept things off ESPN, they would have nothing but infomercials 24-7.... Low ratings I'll give you, but from what I've seen on sports center and all the other talking head shows, the best way to get non-stop coverage is to have a huge ego, a big...

Besides Steve Mizerak, did any other us pool pros try snooker?

Corey Deuel recently gave it a try. I'm not really sure how it went or how many events he entered.

Pechauer coming with carbon fiber shaft

Meucci said they are offering 5 different joints, but I didn't ask if 3/8-11 was one of them... They are doing 30" and 31" lengths, but I believe they said 12.25 was the smallest diameter. They will have a white ferrule.

    Jacoby carbon fiber

You don't need to. I've been told some don't like the feel of it, but Bergman seems to doing well without one.
