Today's pro level versus the pros of 1986

. More good players today because of better and easier equipment. Tables roll more true and faster today. In the old days we needed to hit 'em hard. Now we have the magic shafts where you don't have to aim or spin the cue ball. Cues today play better than the old days. Cue balls...

CF Shafts - Wall Thickness Uniformity?

. On my shafts the wall thickness is not the same all the way around. Also, they are not perfectly round and vary in diameter. But they are shafts for pool players so it doesn't really matter. As long as they play good and last is the important thing. .

OB or should I say SP

. If you like the way the cue looks buy it. Don't even bother with all the crap written about Dale Perry coming in and changing things. Dale was not responsible for all the defective shafts and butts OB was sending out. .

just paid FULL retail on my new cuetec shaft. chump or good guy?

. I get my best deals on Ebay. I trust Ebay a lot more than the facebook groups. Any small dealer should be able to give you a better deal than the big name dealers. They're just not allowed to advertise it. It would be my dream to sell cues at advertised retail prices. .

    Carbon Fiber shafts (opinion)

. I like the Meucci Pro since I sell them and shafts I make myself. The Meucci Pro plays great. And the shafts I make myself play good and have a 20 inch pro taper. I give discounts to all players and not just APA players. :lmao: ,

Autograph on cue that will not get erased

. Seriously, it's a jump cue. How often do you really use one? I don't even carry mine anymore. The signature is not going anywhere. The cue won't be taken out of your bag to get worn off. .

    Break cue stuff, again.

. Wood is pretty much dead. Just got 14mm carbon fiber in and maybe in a week or so I'll whip something up. Carbon fiber is great and cheap. Heck, I see people selling carbon fiber blanks for only $75 now which means they pay around $25. Probably cost around $20 to finish one...

Autograph on cue that will not get erased

. If there is no finish on the wood, permanent marker will soak into the wood some and will be permanent. It will be there forever. The new gel pens made today work good instead of markers. .

Do carbon fiber shafts make the game easier?

. I disagree. The pool cue is a really important part of a person's game. Only with the right pool cue, one can play like a well oiled machine. And about Efren's $15 dollar cue...the cost has nothing to do with how a cue plays. I make carbon fiber shafts for only a few dollars and they...
