If I were willing to spend the extra and had the space, would you say that the deluxe can do more?

Here's my scenario. Looking for a resonable priced lathe that would have all of the features for cue repair. I also would like to dabble in possibly even making a cue or two for myself. Not looking to go into "cue making" but would like to be able to produce one with the equipment I purchase...

Yes that is exactly what I want. Do you have any idea how that's done? And how to figure the proper spacing to have equal squares at say .850" dia. Is there a math equation to figure spacing at a particular dia?

I was wondering if someone would be willing to try and explain to me the process in making stitchwork. I make cue protectors and would love to be able to incorporate stitches in some of my product but don't understand the geometry in creating them. Thanks for your time, ChrisM

The pics on the website your talking about are the same. All the AP1's are the same design. The only difference is the materials used and that's where the last letter comes in. Mine is an AP1-r. Go to http://www.miki-mezz.com/world/cues/ap-series/index.html
