    Best bang for the buck?

Try finding a local cue maker, for a cheap sneaky or something. If your set on a production cue I know Mcdermott has a lifetime warranty against warpage going on now. Its hard to find a two peice cue new or used that just plain sucks A$$. I got a 20 dollar sneaky pete thats in the trunk...

    Powder or not

Some people might jump on me for this but I like to use an old green scratch pad to run the shaft with evewry once in a while. WORKS PERFECT, If you arnt using an expensive stick or a collectors cue. I dont see the problem. I can understand why that might be bad. but it I dont mind buying a new...

Nose above cue or dominant eye when aiming?

This is the way I always understood it. By using both eyes you get better depth perception through triangulation. Im defininatly not going to go and tell Efren he is wrong or anything. Humans by nature are preditors. Thats why our eyes are positioned the way they are, in front, to focus on...

    How did I run out?

Yeah, thats a good idea. And if he does foul you can try another safty by booting the 1 up table resting the cue be hind the 3. And if all works out for the best you can get some postion to play another safe with the 2/7 for a 3foul

OK, 9-Ball Gurus, How Would You Play This?

The seven ball is where your going to have to make a good shot. As long as you get good on the six, set up for the seven, That would be your toughest shot. 2 and 3 are ducks. Nice straight in the side tap shot on the four. Depending on where you leave yourself youve got to get good on the...

    Connelly tables any good?

I dont know the specifics on the construction. But the six leg connelly ultimates I used to play on were the tuffest in town. You could run a car into them and they would still play straight.

I was just wondering how many hours a week the average AZer puts into playing/practiceing. I only play about 10 or fifteen now days but at one point I was playing at least 50 hours a week. Thats when my only job was working 2nights a week at a pool hall and living with the manager of...

    Aiming Accuracy...

How bout this one, line up a straight shot maybe 3 or 4 feet total. Use a red dot cue ball. Place the red dot at the very top like the north pole or at the striking point just below center. Try to make the shot without the position of the red dot changing at all.
