Probably no response because he last bumped the thread 3 months ago and the shaft is long gone. Also, he hasn’t been seen on here for nearly 2 months which could also explain the lack of communication.

Glad to see there is finally a discussion covering deflection.

Never thought I’d say this, but I bought a 60” Diveney sneaky with his standard maple shafts just to see if I’d like a longer cue. That was 4 years ago now and I haven’t put it down yet. Might be time to have him build a custom for me.

My guess is that it’s a full splice, but the handle section is maple, then a 4” or so separate buttsleeve. Hence the reason there is ring work just below the wrap. Pretty cue either way.

I haven’t been to Shooters in a few months. They’ve never had any Diamonds though. Just Valleys as far as the eye can see. I’d much prefer to play on Gold Crowns at Big John’s, or drive to Madsen’s for a Diamond. Never been a big fan of Golden Cue. I’ve got no idea who the owners are.

Only Diamond tables I know of locally are at Golden Cue in Council Bluffs, or Madsen’s in Lincoln. If you find any others let me know.
