    How To Improve Speed Control?

I said was that if the guy wants to learn good position and use it regularly then he shoudn't be blasting around like half the time but performing most shots at low and pocket speed. I thought it would be obvious to most people so what's the fuss all about?

    Can't Improve. Should I quit?

No, you're not handicapped and you can learn to play decent pool, have no doubt. I'm not sure where the problem lies exactly but I have a few ideas. Maybe you should put aside all the theory, stances and drills you've been working on for some time and start all over again. I think you got all...

    How To Improve Speed Control?

Well, it's quite easy not to blast the CB at full power. You simply don't. Teach him to shoot light first and just pocket balls that way. When he gets used to that, then start with more advance position training. It's just my opinion. I'm personally eager to blast away whenever I get the...

    What's your move?

I'd place the CB a few inches behind the 5 and go full-power at the 9, trying to shoot it into the corner. Or, if I really had "one of those days", I'd try to deliver one slow accurate shot using the 5 and drop that 9 like a boss

    Handicapping vs No shot calling

No, in that case slop would count for both sides. I'm only saying this because I often beat better players with slop-maximizing techniques. It would be two times harder for me to win with call-shot rules. On the other hand, I still think it's more fair to leave the handicapping out of the game...

    Handicapping vs No shot calling

What king of league so you consider better and generally more fair for all players. The one where players/teams are handicapped, or the ones with no shot calling rules (no matter which game). In other words, what evens the playing field more? Giving lower players less balls on the start, or...

What offensive/defensive strategies do you prefer?

By "strategies" I mean what kind of general approach to a match do you usually have? There are countless strategies which could be described here, so I'll narrow down the choice to the 2 general offensive and 2 defensive ones: Offensive: 1. Risking pocket for always getting better position for...

    8 ball rule change.

We have both of these rules, as well as no need to contact the rail and many other differences from WSR, which makes runouts quite unlikely and the games become highly strategic, almost like a hybrid game of pool and chess.

The Secret of the Most Powerful Shot

Why do I have a weird feeling that if you make a mistake while doing that the chances are pretty high you'll rip someone's intestines out with the tip of the cue?

    Its Monday: An Extemporanious Piece

Solution - balls with a metal core and a powerful magnet underneath the table surface. Balls would never leave the table.

The Secret of the Most Powerful Shot

Ok, I might have been wrong. Maybe I had a wrong feeling and I don't really let go of the cue, maybe I just get more speed and a better follow-through with a relaxed hand. One way or the other, it surely works.

Even if I were, I'm not spending cash on that shit. Lol less and shoot more and you may learn this yourself.

The Secret of the Most Powerful Shot

Too bad. I wanted to name it "Kick-Your-Ass-Super-Omega-Mass-Destruction-Nuclear-Cannon" break :D I do follow through with a normal break, however, I do deccelerate the cue because otherwise I'd knock the CB off the table. If I break normally, I have to sacrifice power in order to gain control...
