    Full splice cues

Prather and schmelke probably make the vast majority of full splice blanks right now. Someone mentioned Joss, don’t remember seeing many full splice cues from them. Just not many people that do their own traditional full splice cues right now.

Custom Cue Values... Little help from people in the know?

Buy what you like. I would keep in mind, that ivory in a new cue brings about all kinds of complications and if buying from some one outside of the country you live in brings in customs that can and will seize the cue if they find it. Personally I would avoid ivory at this point. Custom cue...

How long to pick a favorite cue?

Right now my bluegrass is my favorite, top 5 cue all time. My JoeyinCali cue is second. New Josey may end up being a keeper. I’ve owned hundreds, but only a few really stood out. Scruggs sneakys, James White conversions, and perhaps a old Joss are ones I would buy again.

    I CANCELLED A SALE-REVIEW/Opinons/FEEDBACK PLEASE

Seems like a odd reason to kill a deal, not something I would have done. Really think you just didn’t want to take a loss on cue, so backed out. Suspect it will be hard to move for anymore now.

Cue makers whose brand value has decreased the most..

Only time that really applies is when someone needs money. Good cuemakers often have a long wait list, which generally means a profit when you sell one of their cues on the secondary market. Old cues in good shape often bring more, and in some cases, far more than what they originally sold for...

Cue makers whose brand value has decreased the most..

Wheat, Robert Harris, Krown, and more than a few others have gone down due to the makers attitudes toward customers.

    A real Sneaky Pete

I quit buying true sneakys, anyone paying attention knows it isn’t a house cue, and people not paying attention pick it up. Had a Scruggs disappear in a bar, waitress put it in the rack. That Scruggs was old, and dirty, and it did look like a house cue except for tip and ferrule.
