As a thought...you should make a post that is titled...looking for quality cue in $300 range. I know there is a lot of high end stuff on here...but there are plenty of people that I am sure have a $300 cue laying around.

I can't speak for everyone...but I like the black stuff. While not a replacement for ebony or buckeye burl...it may be a good alternative, and offer some different looks compared to the ebony. I think this mixed with other burl woods...sending a theme of eyes, burls, checks and voids is a nice...

Nice....thanks for the info.....just when I thought I have seen it all...these cues come my way. In looking at the cue...the detail work on the, isn't bad at all....so probably not a bad thing to have...just nothing super special by any means.

Summers off I find the "summer break" to be rather nice...get some golfing in...and just shoot some tourneys while on road trips. Keeps the spirit of pool alive for me.
