What would you do with this 9-ball ball layout?

Hard to tell without being behind the cue ball but it looks like hit the 1 with draw pull cue ball near right corner pocket. 1 ball, rail 1st into the 3 breaking them (lightly) 1 goes toward 5 giving at best long hard cut or maybe hung behind 7 & 9. May be able to slide the cue behind the 2...

    Ivory ferrule

I have a couple cues with 12.5mm ivory ferrules. .5mm = .019 inches so each side of the ferrule would be less than .010 thinner, not much of a difference.

Does anyone know what this cue is? It might be stolen

Made me think the op owns a pawn shop. Had to take it for a test spin. ;)

    Resonant frequency ...

Makes me think of the violin makers. The belly and back of a violin are connected under the right leg of the bridge by a "sound post". Since both the back and the belly have to vibrate together the violin maker tunes their natural frequency's to a major 2nd or a minor 3rd by scraping them...

    Wood stabilizer

Pentacryl is used for green wood to prevent it from splitting. They use the term stabilizing but it's meant to prevent wood from "checks" or splits as it dry's. If you are wanting to stabilize punky or softer wood by using vacuume psi to draw resin into the wood then cooking it to harden it...

    Guerra Cue's Hickory/Ebony

I did a trade with Tony (Hickory burl) for a cue. (I'm more of a sneaky pete cue player) It's a 6 point hickory burl/ebony 19 oz and in his words his favorite to date. Here's a link to his post of it >>Guerra Cue's<< Test hit with both shafts (2 shafts 13mm) maybe 1 rack. SOLD It is the cue on...

    All Finishes Pros and Cons

I'm a call maker and have been using CA finish's for many years. So I'm a strong believer in the durability and shine of CA. I've had many folks scared to take them into the woods hunting then later tell me they couldn't believe the durability. I also work at an automotive plant and work in...

    Sugartree / Rounceville Sneaky!

Eric was concerned about that too, I shot with it last Friday and we played Sat. of course I let him hit a few (he ran the 1st rack with it) after 1 or 2 balls he said well I guess that worry is put to rest. It's hit (response for lack of a better term) is great. Nothing was lost in the woods...

    Sugartree / Rounceville Sneaky!

LOL Yeah Eric was the buddy that handed me his cue to give it a try... I really think it was a sharking move though.LOL He laughed when I tried not to give it back, offered him my cue in exchange! It was really cool to watch my cue being made. There is much more to it then slapping...

    Sugartree / Rounceville Sneaky!

Several months ago I was shooting pool and a buddy handed me his Sugar tree cue to hit a few with, very cruel … It took me a while to start ½ way liking my cue again. Now it seemed like my cue made a thud sound when I hit with it… it just wasn’t working for me. Fast forward to this past...
