Diamonds have arrived...a bunch of them!

I stopped by today and all I can say is it's a monster room. Mike is right, the pictures don't do it justice. As best as I can describe it is being like walking into the Derby. I played for a bit on the 5x10 which just made me want it to open faster. It's going to be awesome

The Biggest Question Having a Custom Cue Built........is?

My one question has always been "are you interested?" Sounds like a dumb question, but I tend to ask it when I'm looking to have a blank finished. I try to respect the cue maker's feelings about finishing a cue that they didn't 100% build.

The Struggle: Practicing The Shots You Hate To Take

Here's a kicking game for you. Rack up 9 ball or 10 ball. Break and spot any balls down (you can roll them and not spot them). Aim for a one rail kick on the one. If you hit it, aim for a two and then three rail kick. If you make a good hit drop the one and head for the two. If you miss a two...

    Sale section dead

I just think ppl aren't jumping on higher end cues. I'm seeing deals I would jump all over if some life events weren't going on. Heck even with the bad times I'm still thinking of getting one just because you just don't see this maker up for sale. Check the seller and things should go well

    Calling all 9-ball racking experts

I set the 1 on the spot, let it settle and then place the rack over it. When I get balls that don't rack well I'll rearrange balls or shift balls so the left wing of the rack is dead nuts frozen. I tend to break closer to the kitchen than the rail so I not only make the wing ball, but I also get...

Shaft Wax ( Discussing methods of shaft maintenace )

I use an LD shaft and use rubbing alcohol. I'm fairly certain that it evaporates fast enough to not be an issue

Shaft Wax ( Discussing methods of shaft maintenace )

Before I use wax I strip it with a little rubbing alcohol and a magic eraser. After that I sand it very lightly. I simply a coat of shaft sealer and then immediately grab a clean dry cloth (junk t-shirt) and burnish the sealer into the shaft until I don't feel any more of the sealant. Once I...

    You just won the Lottery!

I'd buy quite a few cues. I'd put up the added money for a few tournaments a year. Probably two at $50k and one at $100k added. One last thing I would do which would be a one time deal. I'd put up $100k towards a Mosconi Challenge. First to break his record takes the cheese.
