Aggravated by my team...pizzed off a more apt description

Eh it is what it is. We have ppl that can't show up a lot. I'm there almost every week, which sucks if I'm working that day. My plan when I started playing league again was to not be there on days I worked because I get up at 4am, work from 6am till 6pm, rush home, put my contacts in and I'm...

    Adam Pendley from NC

I haven't seen either of them in quite some time. I think Marcus is indisposed at the moment. I haven't heard a peep about Adam and I used to see him all the time in Hickory

    Any word from Dennis Searing....

Dennis has always been at the top of my list should I ever win the lottery. The small details of his cues are what get me. His inlays always seem to be the exact right size and in the exact right place to compliment the symmetry of the design.

Where are all the Kamui Chalk Warriors these days?

Still have the original cube when it first came out. The only time I've ever used it is when I scuff or reshape my tip. I then put regular chalk over top of it.

    Tim Monk🌶🌶🌶

He's on Facebook. He's in my area and makes a great hitting cue. My next custom is definitely going to be made by him

    EMILY DUDDY Professional

I took issue with that too. The women's tour is open to women only, there's less tournaments because they can't fill a field of 128 let alone 256. She could always enter the open tournaments (she said men's tour, but they're open), but she probably wouldn't cash in them. They whole thing with...

Has anyone tried the McDermott Defy?

The Becue has a very soft hit. It's actually what I love about it. About the only hit I don't like it's mushy, but that's a tip issue or ferrule issue and not the shaft. I'd compare the Becue to the original OB shaft with a wooden ferrule.

Has anyone tried the McDermott Defy?

I have a Becue shaft as well and love it. I was thinking of getting a Defy in 12mm since I have the Becue in 12.5mm

Kamui Black Super Soft vs Techno Dud

I went through a phase where I was trying everything under the sun. I loved Sniper tips, but thought I could find something better. I'd buy a tip, put it on, try it out, cut it off and put a Sniper back on. Who knows how much I wasted on that. Fwiw of all the tips I did try, I liked Kamui black...

Kamui Black Super Soft vs Techno Dud

If you love the tip you have, stick with it. No sense in wasting money chasing something better when you already like what you have. That said I've tried both and would take a technodud over Kamui any day, but I didn't like any of the Kamui tips I've tried

Is playing in a league really worth it?

That depends on your definition. If it's ROI, then absolutely not. You might as well go to Vegas and enjoy yourself on your own dime. If it's to enjoy yourself, play pool and maybe help others get better then yes it's worth it. Bottom line is if you enjoy league, go for it. If you don't enjoy...

APA Needs to STOP Re-Ranking Players During Touraments

I've had this happen during cities. Girl on my team beat another girl bad in 9 ball. The loser goes to the LO and complains about how bad she got beat. She didn't mention that she gave her BiH 3-5 times per rack. They raise her up. She goes on to lose every match she has for the next session and...

    Preparing cues for shipping

I use shipping tubes from an office supply store. I'll glue one cap on and tape the other. I usually fill the bottom and top of the tube with plastic shopping bags and wrap the cues in bubble wrap so nothing is moving around

    pool's greatest might-have-beens

Tony was in the finals in the weekly tournament here (crazy right). He was an 11 and was playing a 2. He offered to split because he won last week and if you won two weeks in a row you couldn't play the next week. The 2 refused saying they only needed two games to his 11. The 2 won the first...

Orcollo might try to beat the 626 record

Oh I think he can break 400. I just don't think he'd do it in the first week. Dennis is an amazing player, but I don't see 627 in his future Edit: I'd like to add that Dennis saying he'd break it in a week (if he did say that) is pretty damn piss poor thing to say. I'm guessing that someone...
