Orcollo might try to beat the 626 record

Dennis is a phenomenal player. I think he is greatly underestimating just how phenomenal 626 is. I might end up looking dumb, but I don't think he'll break 400

    John Schmidt has beaten Mosconi

I heard it was a tough two ball combo

    John Schmidt has beaten Mosconi

That's entirely possible. Getting over a hump like that had got to be monumental for your game

    John Schmidt has beaten Mosconi

I doubt that it was a performance enhancing tumor

    John Schmidt has beaten Mosconi

I've been excited for someone to beat it for a long time. It became Roger Maris's 61 for me except I won't have to worry if John got an edge by juicing to beat it.

    Most underrated cuemakers?

Underrated is a tough call because I'm going by cues that I've owned or used that I don't see mentioned quite so much here. I'd have to say that Tim Monk tops my list. His cues hit fantastic. I've seen him mentioned here, but not as much as I think his cues deserve mentioning.

    Cataract Surgery

Hopefully you get the same results my grandmother got. She had cataract surgery at 95 I think and came out with 20/15 vision. Wish my eyes were that good

    Daily puzzle, beat SVB!

I’d shoot the 5 first. Place the cb about even with the 5 and roll the cb to be about even with 6. Simple angle to get to the 8 from there

What is your high run in 14.1?

Mine is 42 and I’ve just started playing it again in a quest to beat it. Today I put up a couple in the teens. Back at it tomorrow.

    APA skill level review--advice wanted

Good God who dug up this thread? The funny part about this thread is that as soon as I saw it I knew exactly what I posted in it. I guess I could post an update to my post as well. I quit playing APA handicap as I said and played Masters only. That lasted exactly one session. There was one team...

The lowest Deflection Carbon Shaft? Revo, Jacoby, Mezz, Cuetec, Becue + GO-2

I'm not entirely positive, but I think all of them a fairly close to one another. In all honesty I'd go with how it hits, whether or not having a ferrule is important to you and the price. I have a Becue Prime M and love it. I'm considering getting a Cuetec Cynergy for my other cue. In all...

Can you seal a carbon fiber shaft?

Didn't measure, but I doubt I could with simple calipers. The black was barely noticeable on the paper. I would probably have to use a laser mic at work to see if I took off a measurable amount

Can you seal a carbon fiber shaft?

I believe I finally got the results I want. I went and picked up some wet dry sand paper going from 1500-7000 off Amazon for $9. I wet sanded with 3000, 5000 and 7000. The results were great. Now I'll see how it does playing compared to a sealed wood shaft

Can you believe it...a cue deal with no drama

The only cue deal I've had that involved drama was on my end and it was my bank's fault. They issued a money order for more than they were allowed to. Thankfully everything worked out considering that I paid for it. I've never had a complaint on any sale thankfully. I over pack cues because...

    15 hours of playing/waiting...

Long waits are a killer. Keeping yourself occupied during waits is the key. I'd much rather grind through hours of non-stop matches than starting and stopping

How straight does a cue need to be?

I've never rolled any of my cues. It's just a superstition of mine. So far as I'm concerned, the cue I'm using is the straightest cue I've ever used
