I have a helmstetter/adams carom cue, wood pins on the shafts. I cannot find joint protectors anywhere. I know I can have some custom made but do not want to, I just want a cheap, regular set of jp's. I tried one from a friends helmstetter wood pin cue and they fit but i cannot find them online...

3c any dieckman carom cues for sale ? i'd like a basic plain jane, 17 oz, 2 shafts, straight taper, g10 pins from shafts, anything ?

i came up with a pretty cool fix if I do say so myself, I cut 3- 1inch dowels into the length needed to bring cues 1 1/2 out of top of case, then cut 3- 3/8 dowels for the shaft holes, wrapped them all in tape to soften them a bit and presto, perfect!

? well i emailed some pics to adams cue directly, they say awhile ago they ordered some cues from japan and "505" which is the number of the butt cap adams uses was mistakenly left on the cue, but the ones they had also had a helmstetter lion on the forearm, mine does not, the mystery grows...

I have been playing 3 cushion lately, so I picked up a reasonably priced carom cue. The guy who sold it to me says it is a adams, it has 2 shafts, wood pin shafts, lighter and shorter than pool cue. the butt only has "505" on it. I cannot find any infoo online about this cue, like where to get...

. i alreadt tried 3/8x10 and they do not fit, i sent a pic to brian, the builder, BCM cues, he said it is a .360x11.

I have a BCM cue with a .360-11 joint pin, this seems like a weird size and I cannot find any joint protectors for it, will 3/8x11 work ? i think brian at BCM has some, but i also want to see whats out there. thanks (that is soap on the threads to stop squeaking)
