How much did your playing cue cost?

My current player cost me about fifty bucks. It is an old skool Mali that i found in a pawn shop! Unfortunatly it does not have the original shaft but the shaft it came with rolls straight. Only thing that was really wrong with it, the bumper was missing (easy fix), and most of the green Mali...

For those that weren't killers, how did you develop your Killer Instinct?

Read all the books you can. By reading alot of books on the subject, i find that alot of the material is the same and they all reinforce the basics. By reading alot it keeps my mind on the subject even when im not reading, making me do alot of visualization when not reading. I think this helps...

    finish over the wrap?

update Well i have been hitting with this Mali for a few weeks now and i really like the hit. Nice and solid feel to it. Come to find out it has a few more dings and couple of dents in it that i didnt notice the first time. No biggie, again i got it for its uniqueness not for resale. Also the...

    finish over the wrap?

I walked into a pawn shop the other day and they had an older Mali in there for175.00. Didnt have the original shaft to i wasnt willing to pay that. Help buying a beginner cue?

Heres what I think you should do. Find the local billiards stores in town and see what they have on the shelf. If they sell tables they will usually have decent begginner level cues. Hit a few balls with the cue, and give it a good look over to make sure its not warped or something is out of...

    no call shot 10 ball.

I enjoy 10 ball alot more than 9 ball. I dont know how many times i have lost a game of 9ball because it was slopped in. By making one call their shots it makes them think abit more, instead of knocking balls around.
