Yeah, I would say clear acrylic too. I did a couple. But not threaded.

There is a diamond system. No calculation needed. Takes you about 2-3seconds to get the aiming point. It works very well with shot that are almost full ball to sligthly over half ball. I am still working on shot that are slightly over half ball to thin cut.
