    Full Splice .....Sale $550.

You made a statement on a public forum. The statement was quiet negative, bold and conclusory. It was about a subjective opinion voiced by another. Did not think I needed a permission from you to reply to it. Next time you want to address JUST Mason, do so in a personal message.

    Full Splice .....Sale $550.

No problem. I love the game. I play everything except for snooker and bumper pool:D , but my favorite game is Russian Pyramid. Dmitriy's long crown splice design is very unique even to Russian cue building, from what I know.

    Full Splice .....Sale $550.

Interesting comparison... This is my IMHO, so do not make me the public enemy #1. Opinion comes from 20 years of playing Russian Pyramid and 15 years of playing pool. I also build cues, but mostly for Russian Pyramid. I do not think it is fair to compare Dmitriy’s work to any big or small...

    Layered Tip Hype

my 2c Just my 2 cents. I play Russian Pyramid for the most part. I also play some one pocket, when I find someone to play it here with. When it comes to pool, Moori medium is indestructible. I did put it on myself 2 years before I sold that shaft to a guy here. He uses it to play Russian...

What is the value of this old school cue?

I am not very knowledgeable, but this is what I know. I just bought one in a worse condition but with an ivory joint for something like $325. (do not remember exactly -- because I did not need it and bought it mostly to help a guy out) These sell for around $200 - 400 on and off ebay depending...

    1970' Richard Black question

You have a very nice cue there. How long did it take to get the cue back from Richard Black? I doubt I will play with mine. The handle is too thick for me. Plus it hist much harder than I like. This thing is like a cannon. Hard for me to control the Q ball at my usual stroke. I will...

    1970' Richard Black question

Also possible. I have only one other Black cue from 2009. The signature is also different from all other Blacks I could find online. But, there is also another name inscribed on the cue. I doubt that would also be replicated. Secondly, from what I read, not all cues of Mr. Black from early...

    1970' Richard Black question

Thank you Ken. Kinda thought that a 1978 signed R. Black would be more desirable than his modern lines. The refinish by Mr. Black costs $290 which includes the leather wrap. I will go with it and see how the cue turns out. Thank you again. Karl.

    1970' Richard Black question

thank you for your replies. I was planing to send it to Mr. Black. After all, who can better restore it than the original builder? Cannot keep it in the original condition. Did not receive any trade offers I like for it in this condition. Will try again when it is refinished. Will post...

    1970' Richard Black question

Now I am lost. I was told that this cue would sell for more if refinished and with 2 shafts. The estimate when refinished and with 2 shafts was $1300. I really do not want to spend over $500 on refinish just to kill the value + any chance to get out of this cue the $ I would have in it. By...

    1970' Richard Black question

great idea :-) Good idea, but I think: "nah, I would rather keep it" I do not want to sell it. Would trade it for another custom of the same or higher level. If you have something for trade, let me know. But I want a true custom, no Meucci, McDermott, Adam, etc. please. Unless traded by...

I'm glad WalMart is selling Schon cues!!!!!! READ B4 You Vote

long run Will not make any immediate difference. However, in the long run, it is a different story. If the product remains a high quality product ( provided the cues will not hit the stores, which would mean a tremendous increase in production and an inescapable drop in quality). Making a...

    1970' Richard Black question

Finish is very bad. It is flaking off all over the place. On the sleeve it is almost all gone (about $75% off). The finish on the forearm is also in a bad shape. Especially over the veneers. This cue went through a lot, it seems.

    1970' Richard Black question

I just bought this cue. Mr. Black said that it is a "Six Windows" form 1977-78. The cue is signed, which is pretty rare for 1970's, or that is what I read... I already have a R.Black player, so I was thinking of trading this one for something different. The question is, should I have it...
