cloth Sorry to disagree with you Bob, but I 've seen cloth stretch so tight the balls wouldn't bounce just slide unless hit was straight on not on an angle. Also remember the first couple days when cloth was just installed it will slide anyway. You want it tight but not over stretched.

long When a cloth is stretch to tight it will play to long. A lot of guys think the tighter the better but to much stretch the cloth will slide. But it should be stretch but not to tight.
