consistency issues, anyone else experience this?

I think the way you are approaching it is fine. When you get stuck play safe. But the thing is, for most of us recreational players, it is still a learning experience for us, unless a lot is on the line. I would feel like it is good practice to try some lower percentage shots that you have been...

agreed. not to take anything from shane today, his performance and the number of tough shots he executed as phenomenal.

Do you shot better pool on a Diamond table?

For me, the tables dont matter as much as the cloth condition and the balls. IF the balls are clean and the cloth runs true I generally play the same once I get used to the table speed. I am wondering what the differences are for you with Diamond and Gold Crowns. Is it the way the table rolls...

consistency issues, anyone else experience this?

I completely know how you feel. I'm a B player, and capable of running most open racks. But I'm also a college student who spend a lot of time playing at school (it's free) with D players and occasionally a low C player. My game is definitely not the same, although usually if I am focused, I can...

I think the format's great. But a little longer race would be good. But probably not possible because its not pleasing for the majority of the viewers.

No problem, your input is welcomed! My theory is that its both the rack and the execution. But there's not much to complain about Shane making the wing ball 100% today. He breaks them hard and attempts to park the cue ball at the center of the table, which is what I personally like and I am sure...

    Thank you accu stats

Completely agree with you CreeDo. With the amount of technology it takes to set up such a good stream, I would expect their website to be somewhat designed. It's just a bunch of texts and it feels like I have to read through paragraphs to get to where I want to go.

    Break Stats -- 2012 US Open 9-Ball, Oct. 2012

Thanks for the stats. Pocketing the wing ball everytime out of 23 breaks is crazy, he must be doing something different :D

Point taken. Shane made some ridiculous shots today and definitely deserved to win. You mentioned that most players struggled with their breaks and SVB probably nailed in the wing ball on 90% of his breaks - do you this it was a result of him knowing how to rack the balls for the particular...
