Taiwan has to use the name "Chinese Taipei" because of pressure from China PRC in that they do not recognize Taiwan ROC as a country.

Ra Hanna Commentary - Am I The Dinosaur??

Pretty much what I got from the commentary last night was that all asians look and play the same because they went to "school" to play pool. There were also a couple derogatory comments regarding women - I thought I was listening to a trump speech.

    Team Taiwan vs The World

He won a large tournament in China last year with the field almost as strong as the US Open. 2nd in China open and 3rd in world 9 ball championship this year. I wouldn't consider that "sucking."

    Team Taiwan vs The World

There are very few Taiwanese immigrants that are into pool here. Plenty of rich and wealthy ones, but very few that are die hard pool fans, unlike the Filipino crowd.

10 ball and 8 ball not so much.. Banks and one pocket for sure though as I am sure that they have never played a single game of them in their lifetime.

I would probably substitute Chang Yu Lung for either KPC or Kevin, although he hasn't had the greatest year so far.

    PacMan Tourney up and running

So did anyone figure out why bells were allowed in the audience when Ko was shooting? Noise from the home audience when the opposing player is shooting is inevitable, but this is way out of line in my opinion.

    KO - World Champion

Little Ko lost to his brother in the semis. Yang Ching Shun actually had a remarkable finish as well, considering that he rarely competes in pool anymore. From what I have seen, Little Ko may even have a stronger offensive game than his older brother, but his safety play is still questionable at...

    PacMan Tourney up and running

Would be impressive to see Ko take it all. Taiwan has produced a lot of talent over the past decade but few has taken any of these "World Titles."

Taiwan Is Coming To 2015 US Open and 14.1 US Championship

14.1 was fairly popular back in the days in Taiwan - 90s and early 2000s. Obviously, its much easier to give weight and that the handicap given seems to be more than what it actually is. When I first started playing pool in Taiwan in the mid to late 2000s 9-ball has already taken over by far as...
