    Cole Dickson's last cue (Snakewood)

Im not looking to sell the Oakland Herbie. Mr3cushion said he’s putting the cue he posted up for sale by the end of the week.

    Cole Dickson's last cue (Snakewood)

It does look like Judd’s work at least the ring work. I used to drive up and visit Judd when he moved his shop to Colorado.

    Cole Dickson's last cue (Snakewood)

How much are you asking for the cue that you have pictured? Oakland Herbie made this cue for Cole Dickson back in 1999.

    Cole Dickson's last cue (Snakewood)

Beautiful cue, unique! What’s your asking price? I have a cue that was made for Cole Dickson back in 1999. I don’t know how long Cole played with it.

    Cue Order

I’m Al’s nephew and I find this thread pretty humorous. I’m 58 year old and I’m youngster compared to my uncle but I’m old enough to know anyone that knows Al doesn’t question his integrity. In fact I’ve run into numerous people in pool rooms across the country that go out of their way for me...

My pleasure... Al sure means a lot to me. I’ve visit him as much as life has allowed over the years. He has taught me much. Way more than building cues but that too! I always enjoy my time with him. Oh yes I have a few of those old stock uncut Valleys that he’s given me.

Little Al Romero in the Duke City

Oh no… not kidding. Anytime my dad had an idea or wanted to try something new he’d call his bro and it would show up in the mail. They were playing at The Palace. Did you hang out at the Bellflower Hard Times? I sure do miss visiting that place!

68 degrees today. Spring weather has just begun. Al is back in LA today for a couple of weeks and then back up to Sacramento.

Yeah my dad has at least 30 of his cues… conservatively. I know this is one of his older ones because of the joint pin. When Al first started making cues his joint pin was pointed.

New Sneak? Not hardly… one that he made probably 40 years ago. He didn’t travel to Albuquerque with a cue but my father has quite a few cues made by Al.

Al was in Albuquerque today hitting balls with his nephew at the Palace.

    Minnesota Fats Collectibles

Minnesota Fats stamped a pool tournament program for me when I was twelve years old held at Hotel Senator in Sacramento in 1978. He stamped the front cover that had his picture and inside article about him. He walked up to me in the lobby, patted me on the head and said “how are you doing kid” I...
