Yep, I'm sure that's exactly how it's going to work. No way will anyone at MR have thought of that angle. Brilliant! Better get to booking those matches.
Sure. They can all do that. But I don't think they all survive a fall from the back of a moving motorcycle (and the ensuing skid down the pavement) quite as well. That was kinda my point.
Well, yes, I suppose. In much the same way the friction against your hands, the rail, etc. will cause...
So yesterday, a bungee cord gave up on me, and my cue case took a tumble off the luggage rack of my Harley at 60-65 mph.
The only casualties (aside from my heart rate & blood pressure) were one corner and part of the zipper on the small, top outside pocket. It’s a bit scuffed, but still...
Ok, assuming he popped, what for?
Is this dude being pilloried for being a little baked while shooting pool, in a state where recreational cannabis is legal?
Uhhh .... I'm in no way equipped to be throwing any stones, if that's the case.
Playing my first APA session. First real (-ish) organized pool, tbh. The following text exchange with my teammate (who is also my younger brother) pretty much sums it up.
Ok, I'll admit it. As both a pool fan and an everyday, below-average league-playing hacker, this event was tremendous fun to watch. I don't love Predator's "set" format for the big tourneys, but for this 8-team invitational, it was perfect.
You are not wrong, dr_dave. I bought the stream/download version of VENT over a year ago, and still refer to it often. (Thanks, btw!) I wouldn't have paid a monthly subscription, though.
I tuned in to the stream at, I think, something like 15-10 Styer. What a match.
Morra won, 30-28. Neither player has any "give-up" in them. They played for 8-ish hours, with just a few fairly short breaks. Just a helluva lot of fun to watch.
I'm looking forward to today's last match. I'm worried the spiders are all up in Earl's brain after being up 3-0, yet losing 5-3. Now gotta face him again in the last match of the day.
