Why did Roberto Gomez need to play in a US Open qualifier?

Your explanation makes sense. If you are not a WNT tour player, then you need to qualify, no matter who you are. It would be nice for other pro level players that are not WNT players to get in though.

Best jump cue you've ever tested?

A few are but more fall in line with what you said.

Best jump cue you've ever tested?

Ok. It was probably Marty then. I don't recall Mark ever saying he traveled to events to have a booth.

Best jump cue you've ever tested?

If it was Vegas then it was probably Marty Carey. I know he has booths at BCA and VNEA all the time. I don't recall Mark ever having booths. Both cues are similar in design and performance.

    Funny pic/gif thread...

I read up on this cause I thought it was satire, but its real. However it is indeed a "fart tax" instead of a "burp tax." The articles talk about methane levels and cow don't burp methane.

A trick shot artist was on America’s Got Talent

As someone who competes with him, I don't think anyone is better in the 3 phases of trickshots: Videos, shows, and competition. Not saying others aren't good. Other people who do those things can be very successful, but if you take Florian's whole body of work, I don't see anyone at his level...

The egg shaped pool ball that Venom used on TV

Hello everyone. I think a lot of people saw Venom's appearance on America's Got Talent. The shot he started with utilized an egg shaped pool ball known as a bobbleball. It is the same material as a regular pool ball, just in a different shape. Aside from doing a cool trick with it, there are...

A trick shot artist was on America’s Got Talent

Florian shot the shots that the producers wanted him to shoot. The spinning egg ball shot is a great visual. I end my shows doing that and it always gets a pop from the crowd. If you look at the crowd, and not the judges, a number of people were like "that was cool." You also have to do...

A trick shot artist was on America’s Got Talent

Ohh I agree you have to have the right crowd. I do shows all around and sometimes the best crowds are "non pool" people. However, this is AGT and they expect over the top performances. I remember Florian told me that the judges wanted there to more more flare and maybe even fire and such...

A trick shot artist was on America’s Got Talent

Because they are used to everything being over the top and/or are not pool people. Using the rack to assist guarantees you make the shot. He does his show at a pool room in from of 150 people and it brings the house down. Do it in front of AGT judges and it doesn't work for them.

A trick shot artist was on America’s Got Talent

He made every shot on the first attempt. It took too long because he didn't have the 3 tables he was promised to set up shots on so he could just got table to table.

A trick shot artist was on America’s Got Talent

I talked with Florian after he filmed this and AGT kinda screwed him over. He was promised 3 tables so he could have shots set up on each instead of having to set the shots up, which takes time. AGT only provided 1. He had to take his one hour show and condense that into a couple of minutes...

Could a US based 9 ball tour work again? or is it too late?

If you look at their rankings, more than 10% of the players are above the 600 fargo level. The mention of the WPBA in this context is how the tour is run. There is an event every month in various parts of the country with sponsors for each event and a stream to watch. Every player that plays...

Could a US based 9 ball tour work again? or is it too late?

As of now, there is only one official 9 ball tour in the US and that is the WPBA. Everything else, like Bob said, is just a series of independent events. I was curious about the Predator 10 ball events myself as I hadn't heard anything about them. If they go away, then yeah, the only...
