That is alot of cue for the money. I have never hit with a shurtz cue(bob owen) but jeremy jones and gabe owen(bobs son) both played with one for periods of time and jj told me they played real good...thats good enough for me,and this might be the best looking one i,ve seen.

I just read something? About 3 different makers of the cue?? Inscribed on the case? It really appears to be a nice stup. Two shafts,including a carbon fiber at 12.5 and looks like layered tips on both. Silver ringwork similar to zen cues,although not as intricate. DEAN ,take a shot.

Who is the "actual" maker? J flowers is deceased...i have a j flowers"tribute" case made by jiasen (china) but is is really good quality(this cue and case appears to be quality as well,just wish you could tell us who actually is the maker.

I like them all,but really like the durbin(not sure about the wrap though,wish it was white with brown speck linen)

Rod i came on here and bregged about your "players" and this one is the icing on the cake. I personally play with larrys cues and he is building me one now(ebony on ebony bridge points!. Someone BUY this cue NOW. Larrys cues are the best playing cues out there,IMO.

Love the cue(especially the buttsleeve). . I,ve owned a couple phillipi cues and they play jam up. I have also talked to several high end cue dealers/collectors and most of them send their cues to rick if they need something(wraps,ferrules,refinishes) done on their high end...

Just your basic,everyday gaboon on gaboon triple veneers ,rings in ALL positions, WRAPLESS southwest. As good as it gets as far as PLAYING CUE. This is the cue to PLAY pool with if budget isn,t a problem. Awesome cue man.
