Just for clarification: A flat faced shaft can be used on a piloted butt, but a piloted shaft cannot be used on on a flat faced butt (without modification).

Unfortunately there is no cue maker nearby. The tenon is not demaged. A new ferrule with right dimension will fit on very well. As far as I can see there are no threads on the tenon, and a new ferrule could be glued on easily. Am I missing something here? Nobody selling official or...

THanks for your replies. I don't have equipment to drill my own ferrule, that is why I asked.

I put tape around the dent and spit on the dent it self. Leave it for 1-2 hours and redo until dent has come out. Afterwards remove tape, burnish and seal using 800 grit and/or above sandpaper.

The ferrule is cracked, but the tenon is fine, so gluing on a new ferrule should work as long as I get a ferrule that fits. Thanks for your input. I have started a thread on "ask the cuemakers".
