To be truthful if you really like the cue and how it plays then it doesn't matter what you pay. Sorry this is a little long winded, I put a lot of thought into everything I do... But, how I determine actual value of a used cue (especially if I haven't played with it). I search the For Sale...

Does Pierce splice these himself? The points look different than most blanks I see used today. This cue is awesome. Michael

I'm looking for a tip tool like this or at least some information on them. The one in the picture is about ten years old. The size is about the diameter of a quarter. Thanks, Michael

I always take my golf clubs to vegas and my cues and case easily fit in those cases. I think a golf travel case is agood option even if it does have clubs in it. I can fit all my clothes and cues and clubs in my target special case.

I agree with rackrunner8ball Odega is the way to go for a break/jump cue. Now, If you're going with a dedicated break cue and like to put some english on it (I know... that's bad.. or whatever) I've always thought a super pro would be a good tip.

What are the easy ways? Because I've already lined the inside of my Valley Home Table with foam and lined the entire ball return system with felt and it's still louder than I like.
