I have a Brunswick Tru Balance Conversion made by Lee. It's about 19oz (I can get an exact weight if interested) and has a pro taper 13mm shaft. It's made of Tulipwood and Maple. It has a medium hit.

I also have a M11B Mcdermott and it does indeed have a brass insert and the logo is gold and difficult to see and the bumper looks like yours. I had broken the shaft a few years ago and the shaft McDermott replaced it with also had the brass insert.

I just got my Magic Rack a few days ago and I love it. It makes good breaks possible on slow/loose felt. Apparently I should have read the instructions before I ran to my table to try it out.

My McDermott M11B Sneaky Pete has a 3/8 10 Brass insert in the shaft. In my opinion this cue plays a little stiffer than any other McDermott I have owned even though the shaft taper is the same.
