What would you do here... Part 3

An aggressive move would be to play the 14 2-rails toward your hole and the cue-ball 2 rails to his hole. At least getting under the 12 ball.

What would you do here? Part 2

You could also try moving some balls around by smacking the 10 really hard and freezing the cue ball on the 6.

    Shaft Cleaner Conditioner

Being a pool player and a guitarist I learned another trick you might like. There is a spray product called Finger-Ease, it sucks for guitar but it is the BEST shaft slicker I have ever found!

    Cecil Tugwell - Passes Away

RIP Cecil. I was just a youngster in my 20's working as a house man at the old Hollywood Billiards...late 70's or early 80's, Cecil came in often and we played cheap. he was always very good to me and I learned a lot from those cheap lessons.

On The Road Again with Perfect Aim....

Hey Gene! You and I have played a lot of pool together in the KC area, we were usually in the finals and then we would play backgammon for a little fun action. I always enjoyed your company and I wish you all the best.

Is Earl Strickland Crazy or Extremely Passionate About This Sport???

I think I missed something (not the first time) Is this going to be a movie???? There is nothing like a pool movie for promoting pool! We have The Hustler, The Color Of Money (it was green), Pool Hall Junkies and a few more sleepers. Lions Gate still hasn't come up with Kid Delicious's movie.

Pool school in CA - Bay Area 12/6-12/8

Ahhh Sacramento! The ONLY place I know of that teaches pool in high school! Bart Mahoney has been doing this for years. I don't know if this is related but he brings the kids to Hard Times to teach them. If they had this class when I went to school...I wouldn't of had to ditch to go to the pool...

Is Earl Strickland Crazy or Extremely Passionate About This Sport???

Nobody on the planet has more passion for the game than Earl, you gotta love that! I hope a lot of non-pool players see this trailer and it sparks a little more interest in the game.

Players who are annoying to watch play

Slow players drive me up the wall! I want to see action and people enjoying playing! Alex Pagulayan is awesome to watch because you can see his love of the game on his face! Keith and Earl are always exciting, I like Efren cause you never know when the rabbit is coming out of the hat, Scott...

    Cloth Cleaner - Thoughts...

They make a lot of $ selling things when simple solutions work as well if not better. I always use a piece of table cloth, get it pretty wet and wipe the table and rails. It picks up all the stuff underneath the cloth, and in drying it stretches the cloth too. Makes it look like new! Dont...

talk about wantin the nuts !

It's been that way in the US for a long time. I agree that playing for "fun" just isnt much fun , even if you just bet a buck a game or a cheap set it tends to make you focus more.. In practice it helps to learn to play under pressure...you may need it some day!

    I have a few questions about 8ball

I like 8-ball more than 9-ball because there are more options to get "crafty"..straight pool thinking helps with the runs..and one pocket helps with moves and safety play. Also the luck factor is much less in 8-ball.
