I can't provide any useful information regarding the original post but I did play in that pool room many times in the 1963-1964 time period when I was a student at Denver University. Sorry to hear that it is no longer there.

I'm thinking follow through for two reasons. 1) I think we'd see a cue ball in the frame if it were a reach, and 2) Efren is pretty comfortable using a mechanical bridge when he can't reach a shot.
