OB Classic Pro shaft - VQR joint

Meucci threads I have two Meucci originals, and it fits on both of these fine. One of the Meucci's has a smaller diameter at the joint than the Viking, so there is a step. The other fits well. I can probably dig up a caliper the joint of the shaft, but I think it is on the OB website.

OB Classic Pro shaft - VQR joint

I have a 29" OB-C Pro shaft for sale, it has the 5/16-18 quick release joint. I think it is commonly known as a "Viking Quick Release", but it fits on standard 5/16-18 pins as well. I picked it up to compare against the OB-C (regular). This one has one or two racks on it. $135...

    WTB: Meucci Originals

84-8 I will listen to offers for this one. Only imperfection is a ding in the clearcoat near the bumper. See last picture. It had the original tip on it when I purchased it, I replaced it with an everest. This cue has hardly been out of it's case, straight together and apart.

    Radial OB shaft wanted

looking online it seems that the main difference between the OB-1 and 2 is the tip diameter. This one, indeed, must be an OB-1. it has a brown phenolic joint with a silver ring It is in very good overall condition, but I found a few dings about 3" from the joint that I didn't know were...

    Radial OB shaft wanted

ob shaft I have a radial pin ob shaft that I would sell for $100 delivered. I recall being told that it is an OB-1, but I don't know the difference and it doesn't have any markings. Will post some pics in a few minutes, maybe you will know. It has a Kamuii super soft (brown) tip.

    hardtop table cover - recommendation?

follow up I ended up getting one through Ken Hash at Custom Billiards. It is the "convertable" made by Hood Leather Co., and Ken knew which model fit the GC table best. He also had a great price on the Hood line, and was able to get me a custom color. It is a two piece cover, with fitted...

what do you pay to have tips installed?

I know that many people replace tips themselves, but I was wondering what a typical charge is for getting a tip installed. As far as I have determined, there is only one guy in my area doing this kind of thing, and he charges $25 plus the cost of the tip. How does this compare to the norm...

I don't mind paying for a custom made top (within reason). Anyone know of a quality cover?

    hardtop table cover - recommendation?

Is there a good quality hardtop cover that will fit my pro-8 Gold Crown I table? I have it in my office and sometimes I need the surface area for assembling hardware and such. I would rather spend more and get something that will fit and truly protect the table. Thanks in advance. -Ted

New Pool Room opening in Kilmarnock, Virginia on The Northern Neck.

KC's I always go to KC's when in the area, and it is an outstanding place. Wish that my home town of Roanoke (population 100k) had a pool hall half as nice. The food and atmosphere are great, the pool room is outstanding. The owner has his priorities straight!

My New (to me) Brunswick Gold Crown Table

scribbled dates Mine has the same thing, from around March 1963. All of the pockets are within a few days of each other, except one- which is two weeks off. Did you notice that the scribbles are in "relief" and stick up rather than being scratched into the metal? Mine was. It must have...

    mechanic wanted, SW Virginia

I asked around locally and had a lot of recommendations for one guy in particular. He came in and helped me set up my GCI, but I feel it is not nearly "as good as it can be". I should have stopped him mid-stream because I was underwhelmed with his approach... but I don't think there was any...
