You raise a great point. The shelf depth is what I don’t like, even deep shelf’s on much bigger pockets pisses me off, even watching balls hang when I’m not playing isn’t cool. That’s personal preference of course. I just don’t like balls hanging up deep.
Take care

I’m brining it to Dubai, there are loads of snooker clubs here. I’m going to be putting it to good use. If I ever do decide to sell it I’ll message you here.
Best

There the opening angle and the down angle and depth. Theres a lot more going on that the distance between the tits. It all effects how the pocket takes a ball.
All this nonsense about pocket size is mostly noise from uneducated people who didn’t know what a pocket “size”was until they read...
I have 2 flat face, the other is a bit newer and has a big pin in it. The cue in the pic above is very old. I’d guess 1975 at the latest. Has not been refinished. Laser straight and plays very nice. I’ve owned this cue since 08 or 09 I’d guess. It’s a very rare Gus for sure, was lucky to come...
Double black veneer was 1000% mid to late 70’s. I have a double red veneer which I’ll post next time. The red has turned into a burgundy color with age. I love the double veneer Gus’s.
I wasn’t aware of that.
I used to live a 3 hour drive from Reno. From 85-91 (I moved to Vegas in 91) we used to go to Reno all the time to party, gamble. Pool, Sands etc. it was cheap and fun when I was 18-early 20’s.
So Reno was a fun spot for me then. But there’s never been much special...
I had plenty of back problems before my 20’s, during my 20’s and after my 20’s. Spinal problems aren’t reserved for the old. It’s a hell if a situation
It’s the smart decision
Hands down the absolute best thing he could have done. I did the same, I wouldn’t do anything “medical” in America period unless it was trauma care.
Not only does he play good, he’s super smart as well💪💪. He will be just fine
Vegas is a great place to live when you don’t have habits. That’s key.
The biggest issue is the weather & dry air (that’s a personal problem I have) most ppl can fade the dry air.
It’s too hot, too cold or too windy. That’s the 3 seasons in Vegas.
Aside from the harsh climate it’s great...
