Right you are JAM and it is not only pool etiquette but manners in general. Parents just don't teach the finer points of life such as courtesy, manners and other niceties any more. I am not excluding my grandchildren either.

Just a thought. Young people love atention and winning prizes. Give a nice cue, cue case, chalkers, etc. Be sure the local newspaper prints pictures in the paper and of course nice trophies. Great job, great idea!

Not admitting to a foul is the same as cheating if you knew you committed a foul. If I am unsure whether I fouled or not I ask my opponent if he/she thinks I fouled and go by his/her answer. I would hope they would be as honest as I am in this situation.
