    When to retire a cue?

Hey Drawman, What you said not only makes a lot of sense, but that was the kind of answer I was looking for. I have to agree, I will have a few cues myself (one or two for special occasion/own collection) and a few to play with. But they will all be "permanently retired" when I go in a...

    When to retire a cue?

Hey All, Someone had asked a similar question a while back. I'm asking it again with a little bit of a spin. Almost every time I watch the pro's on TV they change cues. So I suppose this leads me to a two part question; 1. When to retire a cue? 2. I'm going to assume most people here have...

    F/S PJ Cocobolo Cognoscenti Cue

Yes, it does look like you can adjust the weight of the cue by adding or taking out weights inside it (you have to unscrew the bumper first).

WOW!!! I had to pick up my bottom jaw from the floor when I saw that. That cue is BEAUTIFUL!!! I'm glad to know I can still get that style of cue made. The veneers really POP!! Very nice touch with the Paua diamonds and dots. Play it well.

Anybody out there ever seen a Southwest cue under 19.oz???

Hey Joe, How very interesting. I wonder why they don't core the wood. But I suppose that has something to do with the way to cue will perform (consistency of hit), hit WAY more solid, and probably outlast some other makers. I prefer a light cue just cause I like to play for long periods of...

Anybody out there ever seen a Southwest cue under 19.oz???

Hey Jimmy..... I was wondering the same thing about Southwest and them making anything under 19oz. I got on the list, but not gonna get a call for 8 years and who knows the quality of the cues by then. I'm glad to know they made some light cues, at least my curiosity is settled now.

Looking to trade for high end cue..

I would have it professionally graded and post pictures of it with the certification and value before asking for trades. Not trying to rain on your parade or knock your coin in any way, just think others would be more willing to trade once a concrete value is established. You can get A LOT of...
