    Opinions on Break Jump cue

I'm developing a line of Jump Break Cues and am wanting some opinions on what attributes or aspects players think make the ideal break jump cue. I know what I like, but would like some other views. Shaft material, size and taper? Tip and ferrule material? Joint? Butt weight and balance? etc....

Update on the Des Moines pool scene

I heard it probably won't be ready till the first of the year. From the pictures I saw, it will be worth the wait.

As bad as I hate to.....

As a dealer, I got some kamui chalk to try out so I could see for myself what all of the hype was, and it for sure is VERY different than any chalk I've ever used. It feels like I'm coating my tip with paste. I believe it will help with miscuing, but so will improving my stroke. I do think it...

    Earl !!!!

As quoted before, Earl played on the same table you did. Antics aside Earl has one of the biggest strokes of any pool player alive or dead. In prime form, he is truely amazing to watch. If you think you are truely better than Earl, why would you play rack your own? I think that is your way of...

Cue Smith vs. Unique's Cue builder???

Thank you!! Is it pretty rigid? I was wondering if anyone had a Unique Cue builder lathe...lol It seems like most people on here have a Hightower Deluxe lathe. Now, my next question is, is it because the Unique and Porper lathes are more expensive?

Cue Smith vs. Unique's Cue builder???

I agree. That's why I am asking for opinions on the "cue builder" lathes, and not metal lathes. Has anyone used the Unique lathe that can give me some pros and cons?

Cue Smith vs. Unique's Cue builder???

My Chevelle and Corvette may disagree with you...lol I'm not exactly a beginner, I just don't have a lathe specifically for building. Any big precision stuff, I do at work. Cue repairing/novice building is more of a hobby that I love doing than a full time business. Don't get me wrong, I have...
