I'm quite sure that Shane did not shoot a 1.000 for the first 9 racks. He missed the controversial bank/safety of the 4 that left it in the jaws of the pocket. Other than that He shot lights out. One mistake in 9 games of 10 ball is nearly unbelievable even for the top pros.

I heard that John Schmidt didn't start playing good until his 20's when he began taking it more seriously. I don't know of many greats that started late, but I hope to change that.

Turning Stone I have attended this tournament many times in the past but this is my first time entering. I couldn't sit in the stands again. It's to good of a tournament to pass up. Hopefully soon the players list will be out to see what top pros as well as the local players who have entered.
