I always aim using the edge of my shaft/ferrule cause I feel it breaking down the use of the cue ball is using to hit on the contact hit. Only time I use center of the shaft is straight in shot and 30 degrees shot since it a half ball hit.

Ghost Ball Method is useless I tried that and it garbage. I use my cue stick center of the shaft on straight in shot and 30 degrees shot but most shots I aim using the edge of my shaft/ferrule to line up on the shot as I am center cue ball.
