I like the Barenbrugge with tulip handle and of course the Tascarella. Impressive cues. Your fancy Barenbrugge is a keeper...nice to have one that plays lights out and looks every bit as good. Think I've seen that Bender before...all impressive
A beautiful stable of cues. Thanks for posting
That book will always be valuable. Fensch speaks of real players and offers actual history...not a work of fiction. Some of the "young lions" have grown up to realize every potential that was credited them back in 1970.
I sold my last copy to a personal friend for $200. $400 is the more...
I owned 1 David Barber cue that was a true sleeper. The man built a cue that plays very well.
If yours has a CR7 shaft, that is Barber's patented ferrule design. You get all the spin without the deflection. The shaft alone would be worth your asking price for the cue.

I agree the cost will go up on ivory cues. In at least half a dozen dealings with Cornerstone, however, I've always come away feeling like I got the better of the deal. If I were looking to sell a cue wholesale, I wouldn't hesitate to call Bill.
The Lacey Act is legislation that I know impacts or at least parallels this situation. CITES certification must be acquired to prove endangered species pre date the legislation...or that fees for conservation have been paid to make the items legitimate.
Years ago I was in the rare insect...
What I'm surprised about is that no one is saying that bans usually stimulate the market.
We've been through assault weapon bans, magazine capacity bans and ammunition access limitations. With every "Brady Bill" signed into law, gun sales go through the roof...prices get sky high as the...
I've heard the term "lost its weight" applied in 3-cushion. A spinning ball will skid along a fairly linear path until losing its weight when the spin then causes the ball to curve slightly.
The harder you hit a ball, typically, the longer it maintains this "weight" and travels true to its...
I've owned a bunch of Bill's cues. Superb players and they are all very well constructed. You would be shocked to know the names of some of the top tier cue builders who use Bill's shaft wood. He has high standards about cue balance and his designs let the beauty of the wood speak for itself...
Well said.
I prefer the play of yellow Micarta to ivory. Also, some joints were made with that material. I own a Bob Weir box cue that has a micarta joint and 2 micarta ferruled shafts. Plays out of this world!
Dave Kersenbrock was the first maker I am aware of who used yellow Micarta...
Nice cue. Great opportunity to try Pete's work for short money. I have 6 Omen cues and can say confidently that as offered, this is a superb value. GLWS
The typical binding is bergundy leather with gold lettering.
The lizard editions are very distinct with a tan brown appearance and lizard skin texture.
I just located a mint set of Eddie Robin books and bought them. I know only 50 Winning One Pocket and 50 SMS were bound in this very exclusive lizard back cover. I was told 7 or 8 sets perished in a fire leaving very few in existance.
I'll have them at the Hopkins SuperBilliards Expo if I...
