Shane IS the best US player

Archer is still Archer. Player of the 90s and now, 20 years later, he plays even better. Any questions :p

Shane IS the best US player

I dunno who would win. (Johnny vs SVB) But I am damn sure that it is one of the few match-ups I would pay to watch live. I hope TAR will make a race to 100 for them.

Correct me if I'm wrong here...

Thanks for the link dave. So according to this article, the thought that the soft tip produces more spin is not true. So why are soft tips produced and used anyway? Why not use only medium/hard tips in the first place?

Correct me if I'm wrong here...

Is it my idea or most of the pros use medium or hard tips? I have seen many amateur players use soft tips (like Kamui S or SS) but I have never heard of a pro playing with soft tips. I have only used soft tips so far. I always thought that the softer the tip, the more the spin I could apply on...

    Bending Over vs. Bending Knees

It is actually worse to feel pain in the back of your neck, cause if you do, it means that you are distributing your weight a bit more forward than you must. Your balance point must be between your legs around your waist/lower torso and you must not lean forward towards the shot while you form...

    The Draw Shot

The most important things with draw are the smooth repeatable stroke and the cue tip contact point. You get both of these with good fundamentals and practice. Forget about all the "raise-the-butt-of-the-cue" tips. They may seem to help but they just make the draw shot much more difficult and...

    The Draw Shot

First of all, in order to draw long straight in shots you must have good fundamentals. If you are not fundamentally sound, then you must see an instructor to fix you up. Assuming you have proper balance, stroke etc. there are a couple of drills I would suggest. Watch the draw drill. Try to...

    Snooker stance in pool

Hey guys I have been playing pool seriously (practicing drills, tournaments etc.) for about a year now and I had always felt that the stance is by far the most important part of the game. A couple of days ago I decided to give the snooker stance a shot. I watched some youtube videos and I have...

    Huh? Is this normal?

Exactly. I remember in a tournament match a few months ago, I was behind 8-1 on a race to 9 and managed to fight back at 8-8. I lost 9-8 though but I wasn't frustrated at all as I enjoyed the game very much. Yes, that pretty sums up the whole situation

    Huh? Is this normal?

Been playing seriously (with my own cue and several hours of practice per week etc.) for about a year now. Had entered like 4-5 tournaments and left with 2 defeats on most of them. After each defeat I always got a bit frustrated about my performance but then on the next day I would start working...

break cue forward or rear weighted,

I have seen many members praising the pechauer break before. Unfortunately, none of them has posted here to tell us if it is the weight balance which makes it a better breaking cue for them.
