I think an important part of something being a "sport" is having a measurable/verifiable winner of a contest between individuals or teams. So pool is in and 'sports' like figure skating or gymnastics or synchronized swimming are out...any of those things where you need a judge to tell you who...

Thank you for the info. That is pretty depressing to read. I swear espn 2 has like 10 hours a day of World's Strongest Man programming, and while they have tons of product sponsors for the bodybuilding industry, what they don't have is viewers. Current pool events/tournaments would get way more...
