Good ball cleaner machine, but not to expensive?

http://www.diamondbilliards.net/Accessories/DiamondProBallPolisher/tabid/77/Default.aspx My mistake, I googled the ball polisher and this was what came up. Are you claiming BTW that the Diamond Ball polisher is $500 or $200 or less? If it was $200 or less, it would be a good VALUE, at $500.00...

Good ball cleaner machine, but not to expensive?

Haha...I know it's not worth $650.00 I went the bucket with carpet around the rim method. It works great and cost me about $50.00. It's too bad pool is dead, a reasonably priced ball polisher would have sold really well.

    1 of a kind Jacoby

That's a good looking Jacoby. I'm definitely considering it. I'm really in the market right now for a J/B, but I do like the colors on this player. I recently purchased a Jacoby and I might like the looks of this one better......hmmmmm. I will add the pics here to help with your sale...

Well the good news....your # is in San Diego so I assume that you are as well? Although you are an honest dude (according to you), I would at least change the formatting on the phone #. You are almost certainly going to start getting spam phone calls and text's if you leave it up there like...

    1 of a kind Jacoby

Chances of this cue getting sold as a result of your original post......zero. Please post pics, I'm always interested in Jacoby's.

    Pre-flag master chalk, ask tweeten

This story mentions green chalk and there's no follow up to determine if anything was done about it. Not ALL lead has been removed, there's a standard for how much lead is acceptable. It's completely possible that there's exactly the same amount of lead in pre flag chalk as post flag chalk...

    Pre-flag master chalk, ask tweeten

I don't know what that article is supposed to enlighten us about. Does anyone have a subscription so that we could perhaps see the test results? Does anybody really give a shit enough to pay for one? Would you then test a current piece of chalk from the same mfg to determine if it contains...

    Pre-flag master chalk, ask tweeten

I dunno. I bought a table a few months back from a guy that didn't play very often or at all. He had two dozen pre flag master chalk cubes in the box of "Accessories" that came with the table (most of it was junk). I recently ran through all of that chalk and bought a gross of current chalk...

    Green or Blue Cloth

It won't hold completely true across the board. It's just that the "purists" will say pool tables are green. I don't think that anything is every 100%, but as a generalalization I have found this to be true. I don't see too many young guys say "pool tables are green". On another note...have...

    Green or Blue Cloth

Pretty much. If you're over 50 then tables were predominantly green throughout most of your playing days and this will typically be considered the "standard" color. If you started playing pool within the last 20 years blue has been more prevalent or at least more commonplace than it was prior.

    Green or Blue Cloth

I always played on green and the tables in my area are all green. I went with blue, and now I think I have a much better table than those others. Green is dreary and boring, the blue lightens things up, increase visability and seems more modern. I'd say green if you are over 50 and blue if...

    Gold Crown 1, too loose!

Shimmed pockets don't play right. If it's a GC1 then it's more complicated then you think. If it still has the original Monarch Superspeed cusions they will need to be replaced. There isn't a cushion made today that fits properly on the Gold Crown and replaces the Monarch's. The rails should...

    APA skill level review--advice wanted

My Final Thoughts on the subject... I don't know what agenda you think that I have. I can't even think of what one could be, we're having a discussion about the APA and it's handicapping system so I'm sharing my thoughts and experiences. It seems like they are echoed by many current and past...

    Is it really necessary???

All that I can really add is that I'm a fairly new member. I have been around forums a long time, but around this one for a relatively brief period. I just got back into pool a couple of months ago and found this site when I was looking for a table mechanic. I have purchased a set of balls...

    Freebie....Freebie

The booklets arrived! I can't believe you would just give these away! You sir, are a good man. I started playing pool around 1992 so this was from a time that is important in my pool history. I am particularly happy to have a signature from the Steve Mizerak. Thank you very much.

Earl Strickland vs. Jose Parica at Amsterdam Billiards

Obviously it would be better if the camera could be higher, but this wasn't shot in a studio. It appears that this camera angle is as high as you can go without interference from the light. I don't want to be staring at the top of the light either. This reminds me of sitting on the rail...

    APA skill level review--advice wanted

Was this one a joke? All season long he played 7's that ran 5 packs every game and he never once got a chance to shoot? I'm going to leave this Johnny nonsense alone. The fact is that if a guy has played pelnty of rated games and shows up at a tournament he shouldn't have his rating changed...

Earl Strickland vs. Jose Parica at Amsterdam Billiards

I just started it. Quality is very good @ 720p. I really don't know why youtube offers 1080p, they don't offer up the bandwith to make it work. I have a 50 meg internet connection and it won't work smoothly at 1080p. Anyway, what are they playing for?

    APA skill level review--advice wanted

That's a good rule, but that doesn't make your hadicapping system the same. It doesn't really fit here because the only way to get into a lot of chess tournaments is to have a rating of X or higher. It's not beneficial to manipulate your rating and keep yourself out of events. It's a tough...
