Tavelling to Ohio. Where to play pool?

I don't know what his purpose for finding a pool hall. If he was looking for action, then yes, it may be worth a two hour drive. I travel from youngstown to Canton, Cleveland, Columbus, Pittsburgh etc on a weekly basis to different poolhalls. Maybe he's just looking for a place to play for fun...

    fast break....

My personal use of "popping" the cue ball is for a few reasons, one of which you stated and that is to cancel out the top spin and the cue ball coming backwards. But my main reason (if you can follow me on this) is because when breaking, it's almost impossible to hit dead center, meaning no left...

    fast break....

I've surveyed Dechaine and SVB's fast breaks trying to examine what they do. Both are unreal. I know a 30+ mph break is not really useful but I think it would be awesome to be capable of. I wonder what Landon shuffets breakspeed is. That kid has a monster break for being so small. Thanks for all...

How do you guys aim while jumping?

I agree 100% with this, and believe that's most important. But in retrospect, I also like the cue ball to land as close to the target ball as I can (without bouncing in to the ball as stated above) only because if you spin the cb the least bit (intentionally or not), the longer it's on the...

How do you guys aim while jumping?

Once I find my line I never look out to the ob because it causes body movement...I find the line between the cb and ob then find a spot on the cloth about 4 or 5 inches in front of the cb and stroke through that point.

They let me fly with my cues out of Pittsburgh, but in Vegas they made me take the cues out. That was through airtran. Southwest has 2 free checked bags so I'm flying with them this time

    Cue sounds

I hate the sound that some cues make, the loud clicking sound. It sounds almost like a break cue with a phenolic or g10 tip and I find it distracting... Does anyone know what is the cause of this? I've thought either the joint or the tip, but some say it could be the shaft...any ideas?
