    3/8x11 joint screw question

So from my understanding, there's Acme thread profile and regular thread profile? Which means you cant use the tap of one over the other? This is sooo new to me that the more info I read, the more confusing it becomes.

    3/8x11 joint screw question

Can a regular 3/8x11 tap (which I don't have) be used for the shaft on the right and work? Or is it a bad idea? Is there more than one kind of 3/8x11 tap? Thanks again

    3/8x11 joint screw question

I have two cues with 3/8x11 joint screw but looks different. The shaft joint protector for the left will not fit the shaft for the right. Is there a big difference then between the two? Thanks in advance for any input.

    Schon current logo

That's what I was thinking. Why not use the older design for the appropriate circa, because older Schon cues can get damaged at the butt-cap from use, accident, or if the butt cap was personalized (name engraved)? At the same time, I don't agree using the older design on the newer cues that...

    Schon current logo

Just wondering why they're not using the older design anymore. I have an older Schon with the current design and it kinda looks "a little off" to me. I also have one Schon with the older design. Can this older design, if it's not patented, be reproduced by any cuemaker/repairman? Admin: Please...
