There were two sets of rings on the post to hold the cues, the ones at the bottom broke off. The bucket keeps them from sliding off the base. Good name for a bar room too :thumbup:

An accessory stand that came with my pool table has a major flaw. The pot metal rings that hold the cues break easily. Solution, use a bucket :cool: :

Guessing the rule for 3 balls behind head string or pocketed in effect so it was an illegal break. Screen shot : both the 1 and the 4 ball hit the side pocket points and stopped where you see them here -

After some thought, I ordered the Aramith Premier Ball Set. The cheap bastard in me wanted the Standard set but they just didn't look right, I like the numbers in the stripes.

Got to hand it to them, that is a quintessential iconography for the industry.
