    Turning Stone - rip off

Well Steve, How do any of you non participants know MZ adds the cancelled entries to his bottom line? An early poster on this thread intimated that as a fact. That poster must have been MZ as he is the ONLY one who knows for sure. Second, Mike's entry fee for the Turning Stone is $150 not...

    8ballr is BRAGS

Tap, tap, tap!!! Incidentally, Jason Kane, former world speed pool champion plays on several of teams I'm part of in Vegas. Would love to see the two of them try the layout for the cheese. Jason has slowed his game down significantly as the speed caused errors in play. Primarily not seeing...

    Keith McCready

Jen, Is there any Keith would play in the one pocket event in Philadelphia if it's held again? Would love to watch him play. I'd travel for that! We have a $2000 added Joss Tour event at East Ridge Billiards in Rochester on February 24 and 25. Would love to have you and Keith attend. Don't...

    Turning Stone - rip off

I've got a great idea :idea2:. All of you posters who think the Turning Stone is a rip off, just don't ever play there. Let the 128 players who twice a year enter enjoy themselves! Don't think MZ gives a rip about what you think of his event or the rules he runs the event by! Thanks. Lyn

    Turning Stone - rip off

Steve, Having played in well over 100 Joss events over the years, including Turning Stone, it was the single best run event I attended all year long. Ever notice some events charge significantly more for late or same day entries? Why should Mike have byes on the board when he has a waiting...

    8ballr is BRAGS

Hey 8ballr, Please look up the CSI streaming video of me playing for the 2017 National Senior Platinum Championship finals match. If you think I can not play, you're a fool. My problem is being 73 years young. Before you verbally demean or challenge other players, check your facts. As I see...

As great as the photo's are, they still do not do justice to the craftsmanship exhibited on this table / light combination. Bravo Mark!!!! Lyn

    New JB case

Guys, Tried butt joints down. Had to fight to get the butts out of my 2 x 5 Ultimate. Matt at JB suggested I insert the butt with joint up. Easy extraction now. Always put the shafts in tip down. My joint protectors make removal easy. JMHO. Lyn

    China Open payouts

There has NEVER been a single player who was not immediately paid by Mie Zuglan and the Joss Northeast 9 Ball Tour. To bring Mike's name into this discussion is out of line. Yes, racking is a problem. Mike however does not change the rules of the game. The one ball is still racked on the...

    New JB case

Coop, The back pack option has a few benefits. First, for events like the league nationals, you can carry the case anywhere without changing shoulders. Sure helped my posture. If you find using both straps on a daily basis is a pain, take one strap off. Also, remember to put your cues in...

Illegal team takes 3rd in Gold at BCA Nationals

5, For the past year, I tried to get other posters on this forum to understand why being in the lower half of a division is a death notice. To get to the next division up, you might have to devote years of additional practice with no guarantee of success. To go down, you will probably have to...

    New JB case

Coop, Just purchased my second JB case for use while I'm in Vegas. Replaced a twenty plus year old Porper with a torn strap. For the money, John offers the best for a reasonable amount of money. My new case is a 2 x 5 Ultimate with back pack straps. Also has the cue ball pocket in the top...

Illegal team takes 3rd in Gold at BCA Nationals

As it turned out, the Senior singles cut off was around 580. That was 25% of the near two hundred and seventy entries. Top was Gil Hernandez at 720 (at the time). I was just below the mid-point at 643. Thought the cut off would have been 625 as well. Like you, I would have preferred to know...

Illegal team takes 3rd in Gold at BCA Nationals

Gideon, Although somewhat off topic, on behalf of East Ridge Billiards in Rochester, NY, we would like to invite you to participate in our Second Annual Joss Northeast Nine Ball Tour event to be held February 24th and 25th. 2018. Please mark your calendar. We're about three hours across the...

Won't be coming back to BCA vegas for a while

Jojo, Played VNEA at Bally's the last two years. Actually, Bally's has better food options as Paris is right next door. The food court is pretty good as well. This year, Bally's introduced the much hated $10 per day parking for non-Nevada residents. As I still carry a New York drivers...

Illegal team takes 3rd in Gold at BCA Nationals

OP, Not sure how this happened by your post. I've known one of the players on the third place team for over ten years. He used to be the guy who set players in the correct divisions for BCAPL. Also headed the rules and referee programs. Doubt very highly he would involve himself in such...

Won't be coming back to BCA vegas for a while

Deleted for some reason. My best guess is it began by giving an incorrect view of the payouts and gave too many people a bad impression of CSI. By time the numbers were corrected, to many posters took the thread in a negative direction. As I said, JMHO. Lyn

Players touching the table with the tip of cue

Think this one is inane, check out his "how would you play this" thread. Here's a guy who claims to be a top player but doesn't know $hit about position play. Talk about a troll!!! Lyn
