I had a Gilbert J/b and I switched to a Poison VX 2.9 and like it much better for a stand alone jump break. Obviously a lot of people like Gilberts to play with also but as far as just a break and jump cue, I prefer the poison.

I don't see how you can come up with a penalty after the fact. If I was Lou, I would just agree that both players have to sit away from everyone for the rest of the match.

In that price range, I would look for a Josey or a Frey sneaky. These are two of the best hitting cues I have owned.

I would try to thin the 6 with right english trying to stick the cue on the 8 ball. Even if you don't get perfect, he will have a really difficult shot.

Pool doesn't make much money bc of advertising dollars not bc of people not buying a pay per view. All the big sports bring in big money on advertising dollars.

You can definitely get a custom sneaky for that price. Post something in the wanted/for sale section and you will get plenty of replies.

I have tried tons of jump breaks or dedicated break cues and I think the best bang for your buck is the poison vx 2.9.
