I think that lighter is better because it helps the cue deflect out of the way. I may be wrong but I think this is the case?

Yeah, I'll probably get the predator and get the popper cue some time down the line for trickshots (which I am quite fond of).

I know to jump is a foul in snooker. I play american pool and snooker. We're getting a pool table in a week or so.

It just occured to me that I might want to learn to jump. Here in the UK no one really ever plays jump shots, but I just thought it might be a little skill I should develope if I ever needed it. Anyone have any advice on a good jump cue? This is bearing in mind that I've never jumped before...
