Semantics....but Yes it is..... There is intent and also perceived intent......It is that perceived intent that is important in some bars. The wording can be spin doctored any which way you want.......but my "perception" is you get the jist of it...;)

Kind of my point though........One would assume then after bridge hand placement......one then needs to then use the inch of shaft to "verify" the cue is straight on the shot line.... It is widely regarded in shooting that a longer barrel is much more accurate and easy to aim than a shorter...

Another problem with bridge hand aiming is even if you are diligent at getting the bridge hand (including reference to any specific part or formation therof)....that does not guarantee the grip hand or cue is straight on the shot line.... A PSR that drops a straight cue on a straight shot line...

If your aim is off....so is your alignment.....If you alignment is off.....so is your aim.

The "key" to this rack is position from the second stun/draw off the 1 (after making the 2 and leaving the 1 in the jaws).....You can't be stuck to the rail...otherwise the scratch in the corner comes into play if you happen to fall short and are around the side pocket

I suspect that for people that are closer to the nose/chin for vision center will have a easier time of switching eye dominance. I am so far left eye dominant there is no way I am able to force my right eye to be the dominant eye......I can even close my left eye make a circle around the target...

I call them sausage fingers.... I have square hand sausage fingers.........The only closed loop bridge I can make (especially anymore) is the OK bridge with the tip of my finger touching the tip of my thumb....I much prefer an open bridge whenever I can.......but use whatever the shot calls...
