Whyte carbon 3 different types & smoothness.

Since you are a Revo user, get a Whyte Carbon Raw play shaft. It will feel just like the Revo in the "smooth" department.

58'' standard cue length needs to be bumped to 59/60''

My rotation is a 29-29, 29-30 & a 30-30. All work according to what direction I tell em to send the cue ball. The 29-30 may be the best of the bunch.

nine ball changes have changed the game

I love certain movies & hard rock songs from the 80’s. Did okay with the persimmon steel shafted woods I used back then as well. Having said, I’m not completely stuck there to this day.

Your thoughts on '3 fouling' your way to victory?

I don't want my opponent at the table period. If they are locked up with a 99.9% chance of fouling then that's a different story. The example of De Luna vs Filler does not satisfy the above requirements.

your paying too much for cues

It is not a startling revelation that one can play the game with a good tip attached to a broomstick. Of course it is not necessary to spend all sorts of money on a pool cue or anything else in life when something much simpler/cheaper will do the trick. That's not exactly how everyone sees...

    It’s not the league

It's not just practice that gets you "good." It's "perfect" practice, "knowledgable" practice etc. Doing the same things over and over again incorrectly will get one nowhere fast.

your paying too much for cues

Let's say I stick to $300 or less cues. What can I get out of them if I want to sell? As we all know certain cues maintain or increase in value. So in the long run are we paying too much for cues?

Are Top Level Pool Players Better Today?

Current top pool players are for the most part physically fitter. I would say the tools of the trade has certainly helped the evolution of the modern player. Put the players of the past at their prime in today's game. How do you think they would fare?

    How to combat slow players?

I played a very methodical player years ago first round in a regional tournament. When I saw the bracket I had a gameplan or speeding up my game. When it was my turn I got out fast as possible. After the match he even mentioned how quickly I was playing. Got him thinking about something else...

    Throwing Frozen Object Balls Question

The second object ball will go to the right. The object ball will not throw as much as possible because of the full hit. Speed of course is also a component of the amount of throw. Throw in how much dirt is involved as well.

Where do I find a top of the line made and hitting playing cue for $300?

Joint pin choice, Radial or 3/8x10?

I am partial to radial & it has nothing to do with the pin itself. The joint diameter is very consistent with radial pin usage among cuemakers. That can't be said with the 3/8x10.

Been days research cue options. Some questions. Pechauer butt (already have) with Predator Revo shaft? Different butt?

Buy your Revo through Seyberts if at all possible. Let them know that it is going on a Pechauer & specify either the JP or Pro series. They will do the quick fix on I believe a 5/16x14 shaft to fit your cue.

    Jump Cue Recommendations

Of course $300 won't buy a new one, but it gets you most of the way there. Shouldn't need another jump cue after that purchase. Of course you could buy a Jacoby for less than $200, but will you stick with that one or end up spending more money on another jump cue in the future.

Sick and tired of Predator “nightmare customer service” 😠

Call Predator Monday morning & speak to someone other than Kim Newsome. She in my experience was horrible / impossible to deal with. Predator has all your information on file. Speak to someone directly in the warranty department about the cue, might just get your situation resolved.
