    Yes you describe it well the hit on the cue ball was some what muffled. It did not have the same action. I use a soft ass elk master and always have for 36 years. No goat milk Ha Ha!!     1970s Gandy Cue

    I bought the same stick in 1978 when I was 16 years old for Christmas. It cost 75$. still have the stick and my wife plays with it now. Had it refinished it looks brand new won a lot of money with that stick!!!
